Damon de Szegheo - Head Producer / Recording Engineer
A 20 year veteran of the recording industry - Damon de Szegheo has worked as a producer or engineer with a who’s who of Canadian music including Juno Award winners Serena Ryder, The Barenaked Ladies, Bruce Cockburn, Trevor McNevan of Thousand Foot Krutch, Les Stroud (TV’s Survivor Man) Sean Cullen (Corkey & The Juice Pigs), Maestro (Fresh Wes), Justin Rutledge, Craig Cardiff, Devan and Khalid (aka. Wild Rivers) and many others.
De Szegheo has toured across Canada as part of the on-road crew with Country Music Legend Stompin’ Tom Connors, has been invited to sit on numerous Factor Grant Juries, and previously held the position of head instructor and resident Producer at The Audio Recording Academy (TARA) - an accredited recording arts college in downtown Toronto that houses five studios and formerly the EMI Music Publishing Studio.
Gord Richards - Producer / Recording Engineer
Engineer, studio musician, and songwriter - Gord Richards has worked on many eclectic recording projects including session work for club songstress Kiesza, Canadian Hip Hop alum Choclair; location recording for Lioness & Divine Brown for The City Sonic Music Series; and in-studio work for songwriters signed to EMI Music Publishing including Lindi Ortega, & Jasmine Richards from Disney’s Camp Rock film series.
Justin Helle - Producer / Recording Engineer
Justin Helle has successfully completed both The Music Industry Arts program at Fanshawe College in London, ON as well as the audio engineering program at The Audio Recording Academy in Ottawa, Canada.
Justin has worked with many musical acts including Said The Whale from British Columbia, Wild Rivers from Toronto, Gravy Jones from Guelph as well as engineers the yearly winner for TIFF’s ‘Battle of The Scores’ contest.
Kristy Hagerman - Engineer / Brand Ambassador
Coming to us from The Harris Institute’s music production program, Kristy is a welcome addition to Oak. With a keen ear for melody & detail, Kristy contributes to many of our sessions by providing editing and post recording duties as well as input on mixes.
In addition to her technical contribution at Oak, Kristy is an accomplished live performer and is the face of our billboard and online ad campaigns.
